Loranthus europaeus is a semi-parasitic plant which lives on Persian oak trees in western forest of Iran. This book was prepared for students and researchers in the field of Natural Resources Research with the aim of introducing the mistletoe of Loranthus europaeus in western forests of Iran and how to control it mechanically. Ahmad Hosseini is an assistant professor at the field of silviculture and forest ecology. He has a Ph.d from Tarbiat modares university in Iran. He works at the Ilam agricultural and natural resources research and education center in west of Iran and has done two research projects during nearly seven years on mistletoe of Loranthus europaeus.
