This book aims to analyse how the concept of social economy is driven and shaped by state and non-state actors in Cameroon and its impact on the countrys socio-economic development and peace, stability, and security. It attempts to address the following questions in order to understand better the environment in which the social economy functions in Cameroon: How have state and non-state actors shaped the concept of the social economy? Specifically, how each player understands social economy, the contradictions occasioned from these approaches, and how social economy affects the countrys growth, peace, stability, and security.
