A dairy product is food produced from the milk of mammals. Dairy products are usually high energy yielding food products. A production plant for the processing of milk is called a dairy. Recent study shows that India is the largest producer of milk in the world which is nearly 10 per cent of the world production. The importance of marketed and marketable surplus has greatly increased owing to the recent changes in agricultural technology as well as social pattern. Marketing efficiency is the ratio of the total value of good marketed to the total marketing cost. The higher the ratio, higher is the efficiency. The opportunity are continuous demand of dairy products and other products by Mother Dairy, market and advertise the products and increase its markets share by expansion in untapped markets. Threats are strong marketing muscle by competitors and unstable economic condition in India. Scope of the study is beneficial for planning strategies and analysis of market. The study will be advantageous to explore idea to solve problem that occurred to retailers and farmers. The entire study is conducted at "Mother Dairy". The total study is conducted through interaction with farmers.
