Beschreibung
This discourse describes the contemporary issues of School Violence as an example of localized terrorism. Students in varied academic levels and settings are bullied, marginalized and oppressed. These reactions are theorized to be on the scale of fear that one personally experiences in some instances, of a catastrophic trauma--particularly if the individual student lacks coping skills and environmental support. A diverse number of creative, effective interventions have been designed and implemented to address these reactions of school violence. This chapter summarizes the issues, reactions and programming to prevent and manage student reactions to School Violence
