Tugrul Özel, PhD, is the Director of Manufacturing Automation Research Laboratory and Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. His teaching and research interests include computational modeling of machining and forming processes, micro-geometry design for advanced tooling, and multi-criteria optimization of manufacturing operations.
